Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop music after getting the public's attention through her hit songs "Starry Eyed,"" and "Guns and Horses" in 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the top as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music, and independent, arty pop. Her soprano voice and ability to write emotionally authentic songs are what make her distinct.
