Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Most well-known for her anchoring of the CNN morning show At This Hour, Bolduan is an American journalist on the broadcast. Her previous roles included co-host on the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was one of CNN its award-winning coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 election. Bolduan also worked as a correspondent for Congress based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. During her membership for Capitol Hill Unit Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and events in the Congress, such as negotiations to increase the limit on federal debt as well as the super committee's deliberations. Her work on general assignments has included stories on The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the stimulus program by the government in 2009. Then she became an CNN Newsource national correspondent in 2007. She was a feature reporter and breaking news stories to nearly 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. In the past, she was a reporter for NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. She is a resident of New York City with her husband and two children.
