Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and advocate for animal rights in America. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in a creative environment. After working as a photographer's assistant, she turned her attention towards modeling and acting. The first two films she made were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw was a worldwide superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. With just three releases she was voted the Top female debut at the box office around the globe. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her signature and hand-footprints engraved. She has starred in several different films, such as The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, came out. MacGraw was married three times.
